Newspaper project I did with studiomates at the pencil factory here in Greenpoint, Brooklyn. My contribution was a tileable pattern that I use for a wallpaper at the Ace Hotel. Artists that participated: Sam Weber, Jillian Tamaki, Leif Parsons, Jessica Hische, Chris Silas Neal, Ted McGrath, Grady McFerrin, Rachel Salomon, Gilbert Ford, Jennifer Daniel, Alex Eben Meyer, Zach O’Hora, Kim Bost, Joel Speasmaker and myself. It's really a great project that I'm super proud to be a part of. Jennifer Daniel did an amazing site (and the awesome front cover) and sort of threw the hype machine into gear. You can buy one here for $10 and the first 100 sold includes an original drawing by one of us. Theres also a slowly compiled flickr pool of our studios. Link.   These are quick photos taken of my wallpaper project at the hotel. I xeroxed the pattern, cut them down and wheatpasted them side by side. I was waiting for better photos but figured this will do for now. More detailed, step by step post later.....
