| Dreams Do Come True |
This assignment made my month. Cover for a new YA book published by Simon & Schuster. Art directors, (my long time collaborator) Lauren Rille and Sonia Chaghatzbanian. I can't really get into explaining this any better except it's a battle between the two sides. Note the Hieronymus Bosch characters...and small turtle. Actually there are a bunch of random stuff I threw in here. I drew this a bit looser than normal, a direction my work has been heading towards recently. Plus, horse-like creatures are ridiculously hard to draw. The AD's and I made a list of things that absolutely had to make it in the cover 1. Zombie wearing severed unicorn head in mocking gesture. 2. Zombie stabbing unicorn with it's own horn. 3. Unicorns stabbing multiple zombies like a sandwich 4. Zombie ice-skating with unicorn horns. 5. Unicorn eating zombie brains. 6. Rainbows. Anyways, you get the idea...   *New website, new pieces in the works. Please excuse a lack of updates for a bit. "Unnngghhhgghh!!"
