Hello and Happy Thanksgiving! I just finished working with Interspectacular on some animated television bumper spots for the Discovery Channel.

I'm posting 2 things because I've been lagging on the updates. This first one is a rush job for American Airlines magazine. Just a feature on 9 different world chefs.

First off, this is something that I just finished for Wired Magazine. I got a call Wednesday evening for a rush job.

I got a call to do the September cover of Game Developer magazine. They specifically wanted a portrait of Alexey Pajitnov, the mastermind and creator of Tetris.

I love patterns, and have been obsessed with drawing them recently. The first job is for Plansponser. I just had to illustrate the words "Play Ball!"

For the Howard Hughes Medical Institute. The feature was on these two scientists that have created a method of seeking out and identifying viruses.

Tritons! Monsters of the deep. Merman, not mermaid...new piece for the Fantagraphics book, "Beasts!"

I did this spread for my former college Health magazine, USC. The feature was on a new facility that is going to be use primarily for stem cell research.

For the New Yorker. On Burt Bacharach's new album "At This Time". Apparently a few tracks were co-produced by Dr. Dre.

My first map! One of the places I've always wanted to work for is National Geographic Adventure magazine....my Dad has a subscription so I was really excited to get a big assignment from them.

Illustration for Outisde Magazine's "The Hardway". The writer goes on a three day meditation retreat and has a hard time letting go of his type-A goal oriented personality.

I got commissioned from Esquire Russia to do 4 different drawings of rooms with a big rock in the middle.

CARS! So, strangely enough I've been doing a decent amount of car illustrations these days....heres a small illlustration that the New York Times Magazine commissioned from me.

got asked to do an illustration for a journal that the Shivas Iron Society does I think twice a year. The design agency in charge of this project had a whole section printed in duotone, which is always pretty rad.

Album cover for an Italian punk rock band. I had to draw someone being stabbed amidst the umbrellas while matching the dark mood of the album.

A spread for Entertainment Weekly. I had to go off the word, "Forecast". All I could really think of was a giant telescope and scientists running around madly.
